FMP Novel collection - Update


For all of you FMP people still following, here's a treat, courtesy of a dedicated fan - Moonfaerie24: all of the novels formatted and edited, translation cleaned up and finally made enjoyable to read (in the case of earlier translations).

I'm storing them on the Google Drive (as with all others), so hopefully they're in no danger of being wiped out together with whatever sharing service would be hosting them.

Upd2: As a bonus, here's a short story I found randomly sitting in my notes somewhere. Might not be polished, but I figured that it's better to release it anyway. I completely forgot about it, and really, it's worth the couple minutes you'll spend on it - Mao is brilliant (I swear, no trolling, I translated things as they were).

    The links seem to be out of order. Like 04 Ending Day By Day p1 leads to 07 Continuing On My Own.

    Awesome, thank you. A few of the links are crossed and volume 12 is linked to one of the previous volumes. If you could get volume twelve fixed it would be great.

    Six months had past since Tokyopop had close doors. So, you can make any translation with no worries! I really hope to see FMP!Another translations too!

    Where can I find the first 3 novels to read?

    For now all the links seem to be crossed, so in case anyone needs to know:

    4 goes to 7, 5 goes to 8, 6 goes to 5, 7 goes to 5, 8 goes to 12, 9 goes to 4, 10 goes to 09, 11 goes to 10, and 12 goes to 6.

    hopefully it'll get fixed in the future, but for now, there you go ^_^

    Can you not translate the volumes 1, 2 and 3 too? In my country, FMP has not been licensed.

    Sorry for the links - I thought Google would automatically post them in the right order, but as they say, if you want something done properly, do it yourself...
    I think I've fixed them all.

    As to the first three volumes, errr. I've never seen them myself since they were animated anyway. I'll ask around, but I don't really know whether I'll be able to help. Can only promise to keep an eye out.

      Upon reflection, I don't want to attract any attention from any copyright holding industry types, so I don't think I'd host the novels (and they are largely irrelevant anyway).

      As to the two short stories, if you could send them to my email, I'd post them - since 4shared required login now.

      About the official novels, I think that you can just leave the torrent link, because to you host it is dangeours.
      I'm planning to scan my books 2 and 3, but I need a portable scanner as the regular one will destroy the books, and only the volume 3 can be found by $140

    Hello.
    First of all please excuse my bad english, I'm not a native speaker.
    Second, can somebody please tell me how to get the files? the only thing I get when I open the links is a site about how great google drive is, but there is no way to download it. I tried to use the help function and searched (ironicly with google) for a solution, but i coudn't find one.

      Firstly, your English is fine - many people never reach this level (and by the way, I'm not a native speaker either, just saying).

      I'm sorry to say I can't figure out what the problem is. There were a couple comments to another post that described a similar problem, but then it worked fine for those posters, apparently. Permissions are specifically set so that anyone, even those without Google accounts, can download the files, and I checked that, both myself and with others... if you really can't work it out, send me an email, I'll forward them.

    I know that I'm very LTTP here, but THERE IS A GOD! Finding the entirety of the FMP LN translations done by a single person is a miracle, considering how fragmented the translation effort was. You are indeed a gentleman and a scholar.

    I've been searching for the Light Novels for some time now, and though Side Arms 2 has been found, I haven't seen a single thing on the first Side Arms story.

    If anyone has any info on where I can find it online, I'd appreciate it.
